Questions for the Candidates

A political society endures when it seeks, as a vocation, to satisfy common needs by stimulating the growth of all its members, especially those in situations of greater vulnerability or risk.

Michigan Catholic Conference’s latest FOCUS publication, The Issues, the Candidates and Your Vote: Calling for Dignity in the Public Square, provides information about the upcoming election, conscience formation, and questions to consider before choosing candidates to vote for on November 8, 2016. The questions address policy positions in the areas of human life and dignity; marriage, children, and families; religious liberty, the preferential option for the poor; health care; immigration, migration, and refugees; education; and restorative justice. Print copies of this FOCUS are available at no charge. To order copies, contact Karah May at kmay@micatholic.org, send a fax request to (517) 372-3940, or call (800) 395-5565.
